The third release of our "Deep in the Heart" series. Inspired by the vibrant bluebonnets that transform the Central Texas countryside every spring, this piece features an intricate electroformed dial modeled after the region's topographical landscape.


Dynamic Light Play: Because the electroformed surface has micro-faceted variations across the face, ambient light doesn't just hit a flat wall and bounce back. It scatters and catches different ridges at different angles, shifting from a rich indigo in low light to a vivid lupine blue in direct sun.

The Dial

Electroforming is an additive manufacturing method that builds solid metal parts atom by atom through an electric bath, rather than stamping metal with a heavy press or cutting it with a CNC mill.

Think of it like 3D printing with chemistry: an electric current pulls microscopic metal ions out of a liquid solution and deposits them onto a precision mold until a standalone, solid dial forms.
