The Case

This case was designed to be distinct. We built it to stand apart, bringing its own character and style while clearly separating itself from the rest. While the case is stunning in its display, its purpose remains the same... being a watch that will handle almost anything you put it through.

Built from 316L stainless steel, this case can be dressed up or down depending on what situation you find yourself in. Front and center, the sapphire crystal is naturally scratch resistant, so you don’t have to worry about bumping into anything.

This watch is meant to be worn through thick and thin. This case can take it.

The Movement

At the heart of the timepiece beats the premium Miyota 9039 automatic movement. Engineered in Japan for uncompromising precision and long-term reliability, the 9000 series is built to rival Swiss counterparts.

The 9039 is a "true no-date" caliber. This means the movement lacks a date wheel entirely, eliminating the phantom click position when pulling out the crown. This ensures a crisp, straightforward user experience and allows for a flawlessly symmetrical, clean dial design. Operating at a high beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the movement delivers a beautifully fluid, smooth sweep of the seconds hand. Furthermore, its ultra-slim profile allows for an elegant case design that sits comfortably on the wrist without sacrificing mechanical robustness.

The Strap

In Texas, cowboy boots are a cornerstone of our culture. They’re worn for just about any occasion, not just special ones. It only felt right to pair these Texas-inspired watches with a strap made from my favorite and in my opinion, the most comfortable boot leather there is: ostrich.

Cowboy culture is fundamentally rooted in resilience and hard work. Ostrich leather perfectly embodies this duality. Despite feeling incredibly soft and requiring virtually no "break-in" period compared to thick cowhide, ostrich is actually one of the strongest and most durable commercial leathers available. The fact that it is both ruggedly indestructible and comfortably luxurious makes it deeply appealing to the Texan ethos.

When designing this series, I couldn’t help but hum that song on repeat. This piece means a great deal to me for more reasons than I can count. Growing up in a small town in Central Texas, I was lucky to experience nights untouched by light pollution. I remember lying in the grass on warm summer evenings, staring up at the sky - Orion’s Belt always front and center.

I’d stay there for hours, completely absorbed by the vastness of space and the unknown beyond it. Those moments became some of my most cherished childhood memories—and they’re something I still return to whenever time allows.

The aventurine dial captures that same sense of depth and wonder, mirroring the night sky I grew up under. And just like those summer nights, Orion’s Belt is proudly on display.
